Position Description
Responsible for all facets of the development of the consumer use literature for the cooking product platform. Provide direction, manage workload and meet support requirements for literature team members.
Responsibilities to include:
- Monitor and provide feedback on workload, schedules, training and appraisals of literature team members.
- Provision of comprehensive written and/or graphical representation detailing the proper use and care of the intended product utilizing developed desktop publishing skills.
- Acquisition of detailed product information from cross disciplines ie…Product and Electronic Engineering, Product Service, Product Management and Consumer Science Personnel
- Development of associated technical literature such as: installation instructions, service technical sheets and product safety and warning labels.
- Manage and schedule multiple projects effectively.
- Maintain existing consumer product literature as required.
- Develop and maintain consumer product literature websites
- Provide support as required to assure successful product launch implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree – Technical Writing, Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Desktop Publishing using Adobe Creative Suite or Technical Writing software packages.
- Demonstrated graphics design capability utilizing vector Freehand, Adobe Illustrator, and CorelDraw and raster Photoshop software packages.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and interact effectively within a cross functional environment.
- Demonstrated capability with website design and support of webpage management.

Description
Generate plans, procedure and report documents using existing templates. Generate simple 2D illustrations and schematics using a variety of software tools. Manage other electronic media (digital photos, scanned images, etc.) associated with Performing Rights Organization related activities. Facilitate document approval and release within the client. Ensure timely and accurate completion of project tasks through coordination of associated test staff and resources. Undertake assignments as directed by the Information Services Group.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years working experience as technical writer, preferably in an entertainment or similar environment. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills. Experience in website publications for internet (blogs, etc.) and white paper creation preferred. Must be familiar with desktop computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, VISIO, Sharepoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer applications.

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, related field or equivalent work experience. May hold entry-level or intermediate-level certification(s) in work field. Typically 2-5 years of relevant experience in technical writing, journalism or related field. Must be able to work in a structured and highly disciplined environment.
