Thinking about trying mobile for your online help or doc but hesitant because of the need for new tools? App programming? Try using your help authoring tool. In this webinar, you'll review mobile outputs from RoboHelp and Flare, then look at the features that help create the most flexible and controlled content possible. Mobile information is becoming more common and companies are starting to look at it for their own specific needs. We usually think of app development in regard to mobile, but much of a company's information does not require an app; just reformatting and recoding to run efficiently on mobile devices. This can be done now using common help authoring tools, specifically Flare and RoboHelp. This session discusses how those tools support output to mobile, and what controls have to be applied to the content, and how, to ensure flexible content. This webinar will review the technology and market changes that are finally driving the penetration of mobile information into tech comm, and how the support for mobile output by help authoring tools makes it possible for tech comm to try mobile output at almost zero risk. You'll learn about mobile architectures and configurations in general, and with regard to help authoring tools in particular, and will learn about the features to use for development to ensure that content is as flexible yet controlled as possible, to ensure that it will run on as many devices and outputs as possible - single sourcing to the max.
