36-Hour Forecast

Weather trends
November is when local folks start to bundle up when they go out at night.

The temperature swings an average of 20 degrees each day, from highs near 60 during the day to lows around 40 at night.

It's a fairly safe bet that's what you'll see, but this is Tennessee weather. The record high for November was 84. The record low was -1.

Both records were set on Nov. 1, 1950 — a temperature swing of 85 degrees.

In mid-October, it's a bit cooler than average, but we're not chasing any record lows - yet.
