For starters, the Gaylord Opryland campus includes Opry Mills Mall, a 200-store and entertainment complex that is sure to provide a thorough workout for your senses, your legs, and your credit card.

The mall is built on the grounds of what was once the Opryland theme park. Locals were sad to see the park go and nicknamed the new venture "Shopryland" and "Shopry Mills." Even Gaylord promotes it as "shoppertainment."

The proof, as they say, is in the pudding. In this case, the parking lot at the mall is almost always bustling and there is a steady stream of foot traffic from hotel to mall.

A little further walk takes you to the Music Valley Drive experience. In this area, developed to take advantage of the traffic generated by Opryland, you will find shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and hotels all boasting a country-music theme.
