2004 STC Competition Awards Banquet

Twenty-five people attended the banquet held at Amerigos on April 14. After enjoying a delicious meal and viewing eight award-winning entries, attendees enjoyed a stimulating presentation. Beth Tanner and Marty Nord spoke on "Building Personal Credibility for Technical Professionals". They discussed seven ways to do that:
1. Know your stuff - competency
2. Do what you say - deliver
3. Question, question, question
4. Speak up
5. Show that you care - relationships
6. Participate passionately - attitude
7. Put yourself out there - involvement
