September 1999 Meeting: Help/User Assistance Architecture

Thanks to all who made it to the meeting last night. We had an excellent time, and, judging from the results of the questionnaire, a lot of folks took home valuable knowledge regarding User Assistance. It was evident that we had a good time, to boot.

Thank you MJ Plaster for making a wonderful presentation. In addition to providing cutting edge information, MJ provided fabulous give-aways via a drawing, which included a ticket to the 4-day Help '99 conference in Dallas (a $995 value ), full versions of RoboHelp (an $800 value), PaintShop Pro 5, Sageline EHTD, and others. And for everyone, she brought RoboHelp Demo CDs, ForeHelp Premier 99 Demo CDs, and some valuable contact information.

If you were unable to attend, these latter items will be available at the next meeting. To visit MJ Plaster's web site, go to www.wwwinnovations.com

One of the goals of the officers is to provide:

  • valuable information that will improve our members' skills
  • a venue conducive to information sharing and networking
  • a fun time

The best way we can do this is to get your feedback and participation. I look forward to our next meeting October 19th at 6:30 pm. The topic is "Understanding the Marketability of Your Skill Sets in the Information Age." This will be the last official meeting of 1999, so come join us.
