Meeting Notes

March 1998 Meeting: Distance Learning
Linda Bramhall, Catherine Nance

Deloitte & Touche (D&T) was the scene of a lively presentation and discussion on distance learning. Linda Bramhall presented her research findings on different distance learning software packages and what seems to work best for D&T's training plans.

Catherine Nance, the first distance learning graduate of Mercer University, presented her perspective from that of a student. She showed Mercer's Web pages to the attendees and offered her version of the pros and cons of distance learning. For more info, check out the HTML version of Catherine's PowerPoint presentation.

Also on our site is a paper, Graduate Education Evolution in Technical Communication, by David C. Leonard, Ph.D., Assistant Dean, Mercer University, School of Engineering.
